Helicoprion
This marine animal lived in the giant ocean of Panthalassa and reached sizes of about 15 feet long and weighed about 500-1000 pounds. This marine predator ate other marine animals and the most astonishing feature of this animal and the only fossil to be from it is its tooth whorl on its lower jaw. No one knows its exact purpose but from analysis it is believed that either the jaw was like that to scrape the mollusks shell away while some believe that the shark actually uncoiled its lower jaw and used it like a whip being able to get the pray and re coil it back into the sharks mouth. Other than the given information there isn't anything else discovered besides the teeth, with age the teeth of the shark became more central while another line of bigger teeth replaced them.
